Absolutely filthy Caitlin Clarks DIZZYING move on Olympics gold medalist has Tyrese Hal

The WNBA returned yesterday to start their second leg of the season. But fans of the sport were eagerly waiting for a certain rookie superstar to play today. Caitlin Clark did not disappoint the fans when she led her Indiana Fever with a brilliant double-double display to win against the Phoenix Mercury. But for Tyrese Haliburton and fans of the game, one particular move capped her impressive performance.

This play happened in the first quarter when the rookie had the ball in her hands. She had Paris Olympics gold medal game star Kahleah Copper guarding her. Clark first tried to dribble past but stopped to resurvey the floor.

When she understood which way to go, she dribbled left, crossed back to her right and, with a near 360 spin move off, Copper drove to the basket. Not only did she lay the ball up for an easy score, but she also drew a foul for an and 1.

This led the entire crowd inside Gainbridge Fieldhouse and Tyrese Haliburton to stand up and applaud what they saw. This move also set the tone for almost the rest of the game, as the Fever ran up a double-digit lead at the half.

However, the Phoenix Mercury boasts some of the best players in the league. Led by Kahleah Copper, they staged a third-quarter rally. But Caitlin Clark and her teammates held their ground and eventually won the game 98-89.

Tyrese Haliburton and fans applaud Caitlin Clark

Clark up with a team-leading 29 points, 10 assists, and 5 rebounds. Pretty impressive, considering she is still a rookie. However, how she got to those numbers is what fans pay top dollar to watch. Her speed, incredible passing, moves to create separation and score, and most importantly, her three point scoring drew out the oohs and aahs.

Tyrese Haliburton led fans to talk about it on social media when they witnessed a basketball clinic from the Indiana Fever rookie. Check out some of those reactions below:

The 22-year-old got some much-needed rest before this second leg started. Add to that, the Fever do not have any back-to-back games, unlike some other teams. This sets up for an exciting second half of the WNBA season.
