Beyonc Leads The Charge As The Nominations For The 65th Annual Grammy Awards Are Announced

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Beyoncé topped the list of nominees for the 65th annual Grammy Awards with nine total nominations, including picks for record an album of the year for her album “Renaissance” along with a ninth pick for her contribution “Be Alive” to the film King Richard.

The latest round of nominations brings Beyoncé career total to 88, putting her in a dead heat with her husband, Jay-Z, for the record for most nominations by any artist in the history of the awards show, followed by Sir Paul McCartney, with 81.

Other contenders for record of the year for 2023 include Abba, Adele, Mary J. Blige, Brandi Carlile feat. Lucius, Doja Cat, Steve Lacy, Kendrick Lamar, Lizzo and Harry Styles.

Kendrick Lamar was close on Queen Bey’s heels with eight nominations, including record, album, and song of the year, and Adele and Brandi Carlile, who each earned seven nominations apiece, including record an album of the year.

Harry Styles, Mary J. Blige, Future, DJ Khaled, along with songwriter The Dream, each earned six nominations apiece.

The 65th annual Grammy Awards will take place on Sunday, Feb. 5, from Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena and will be broadcast lie on CBS, and streamed both live and on demand on Paramount+.
