BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — According to a recent news release, Saint Alphonsus Health System will begin constructing a new four-story, 54,800-square-foot medical office building in Caldwell at a groundbreaking ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 29, at 9 a.m.
This new Medical Health Plaza will be located at 712 Aviation Way at the Aviation Way and Franklin Road intersection. The medical office building will be constructed on an 18-acre site, offering 54,800 square feet of usable clinic space on six acres of developed site and include 320 parking stalls.
The Medical Health Plaza will offer primary care (family medicine, pediatrics and obstetrics/gynecology), urgent care and specialty services, which include cardiology, general surgery, ear, nose, throat, orthopedic, sports medicine, podiatry and occupational medicine.
Lab and Imaging services will be provided, including X-ray, Mammography and Ultrasound. Approximately 34 physicians and healthcare providers are planned to staff the medical office building.
This new facility will have enough acreage to ensure the capacity to expand as the growth in the community dictates.
The interior clinic space features a modular pod design, allowing the space to adapt to the growth and demand for specialty services, thus minimizing additional construction costs otherwise required under a more traditional building model.
Construction begins on Nov. 27 over 20 months, with projected completion in September 2025.
